A Bicycle Built For Two

From the photographers: Katie & Angie fittingly got married at a Winery as they are total wine lovers. We can’t write anything better than their story they sent to us:
“Angie and I met at the gym. She was the Zumba instructor and I was the student. We became workout partners which blossomed into a romantic relationship. Our mutual love for fitness is what brought us together. We motivate each other, not only in the gym, but also in life. We have become true life partners.” When asked to describe themselves as a couple they said “Would I be biased if I said we are “adorable”? First, we are both 5’1 so we are small. Angie is black and I am white, so people are always intrigued by us. We both love having fun and people feed off our energy. We balance each other out. I am super type A, need everything focused and planned and she is type B, which helps to calm me down when I have gotten worked up about something. When we are together, we must give off loving vibe because people were asking us before we got together if we were “together”. People just sense it.”

Katie & Angie’s experience on working with Savannah & Greg: ” First off, you get two awesome photographers when you book Authentic Collective. Savannah and Greg were AMAZING from start to finish. We did our engagement photos with them which is when we first started getting to know them. They are fun and easy to work with. They really help make you feel at ease in front of the camera. For the wedding, they had some resources for us to review and helped us put together our timeline and shot list so we could get all the shots we wanted, but not spend too much time trying to get everyone into the photos. They went above and beyond when helping us plan for the big day, even meeting with us at our venue a few weeks prior to go over the timeline and any specific questions we had. The photos came out STUNNING! They captured so many beautiful moments and my wife and I were able to re-live those moments when we went through our gallery. I would highly recommend Authentic Collective as you  are getting a great team that is willing to go above and beyond to make sure you feel special, that your day is exactly what you envision, and that your photos reflect the feelings and emotions you experienced on one of the biggest days of your life.”

Congrats to Katie & Angie! We here at ABBFT wish you many years of happiness ahead. Much love to you both.

From the happy couple: 6 years in, many discussions of, & 3 almost proposals later, my skiddish-about-marriage now-fiancée surprised me upon my arrival in Kathmandu (to meet her for some travel) with a sincere interest in leaving this particular trip with rings on our fingers & a tangible decision made. This trip took us through Nepal & much of Northern India, and throughout that (almost) month we talked a lot about what we were doing in our lives, in our relationship, and where we wanted to go/what we wanted to do next. The engagement photo submitted & that we use for everything “engagement”-wise is from the Taj Mahal at sunrise – where Olivia literally set up her iPhone on the ground, set that self-timer to 10 seconds, ran back to Ash & accidentally captured what will most likely remain one of our most favorite photographs ever. At the end of our trip, back where we started, in Kathmandu, Ash found the ONE diamond store in the city (maybe in the country?!) and we returned home with beautiful, unique, perfect-for-us engagement rings, some stunning photos, and some once-in-a-lifetime memories!
