A man is dead and another is in the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in southern Clermont County on Tuesday night.
The wreck occurred at the intersection of state routes 756 and 743 in Washington Township about 8 p.m., according to the Batavia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

A news release from the Highway Partol said a preliminary investigation shows that a 2014 Dodge Avenger driven by 27-year-old Dakota Hulbert of Batavia was traveling southeast on State Route 756 when it was struck in the intersection at State Route 743 by a 2006 GMC Sierra driven by 32-year-old Bryan Brock of Moscow.
Brock had been traveling southwest on State Route 743.
Hulbert sustained serious injuries and was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he died, the release said.
The release said Robert Brewer II, a passenger in Hulbert’s vehicle, also was seriously injured and taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Brock was not injured and declined medical treatment, the release said.
