Police identify driver who died after rolling vehicle into Scarborough Marsh


Police have identified the driver who died after rolling his vehicle into the Scarborough Marsh. Christopher Thompson, 19, of Old Orchard Beach, was found dead in his car just before 10:00 a.m.Police said Thompson was driving south on Pine Point Road when it crashed into the marsh.Thompson was the only person inside the vehicle, police said.Pine Point Road was shut down for several hours while the scene was cleared.The crash remains under investigation.

Officials identify 18-year-old passenger killed in crash involving Louisville EMS vehicle

Officials have released the name of the man who was killed in a crash involving a Louisville EMS unit in south Louisville.On Friday, a deputy coroner identified the victim as Dylan Norwell, 18. According to officials, the accident happened around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. They say a white SUV was traveling southbound on Taylor Boulevard when it drove over into the northbound lane and struck a Louisville EMS unit at the intersection of Bicknell Avenue.Norwell, who was a passenger in the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was transported in critical condition. The LMPD Traffic Unit is handling the investigation.
